Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail Gateway - L.O.S.T

2GHO facilitated the development of the Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail (LOST) kiosk signage program for Palm Beach County as an economic driver.  The main objectives were to convey regional information regarding the specific areas through the use of the Scenic Trail used to educate the general public on the rich history of these towns and cities.  The second objective of this project was to provide a capital improvement plan to encourage and support the economic enhancement of the region.  This was done by identifying applicable grants, grant sources, and grant writing to create funding for use by future project s in the LOST area, both for the public and private sectors.  2GHO worked alongside the four communities of western Palm Beach County to develop conceptual kiosk designs which reflect the cultural and historical perspectives within the region. Charrettes were organized to gain public input on structure, regional history and location priorities.
